Stocking Stuffers for Christmas

Get the best for your family!

From expensive electronics that come in small packages to the more affordable, consumable items, there's a variety of best Christmas stocking stuffers you can fill your family's stockings with on Christmas Eve. Here's some great options for girls and guys of all ages.

One: Apple iPod Touch 32 GB

Apple's newest release of the iPod Touch is going to be the must-have stocking stuffer this Christmas. And with a faster processor than the 8 GB version, it's going to last longer than the smaller capacity models. Though expensive, this is one stocking stuffer the receiver won't forget.

Two: Microsoft Zune HD 32 GB

The Microsoft Zune HD 32 GB is a close contender for this year's top media player, the aforementioned iPod Touch. However, if you don't really like the whole Apple scene, the Microsoft Zune is a great option, since it has almost all of the same features of the Apple iPod Touch without requiring the use of iTunes software. At $289, its price is comparable to the iPod Touch 32 GB.

Three: Favorite Candy Bar

Nobody dislikes receiving their favorite candy for Christmas. Whether it's fancy truffles, chocolate cherry cordials, or a dark Milk Way candy bar, you can't go wrong giving candy for Christmas. It's also not near as expensive as an electronic toy like an iPod.

Four: Starbucks Gift Card

Whether your family is die-hard Starbucks or if they rarely ever frequent the coffee shop, a $5 or $10 Starbucks gift card is a great gift for a special occasion. Starbucks offers pastries and non-coffee drinks, so even if the recipient doesn't like coffee, they can still enjoy a trip to Starbucks.

Five: iTunes Gift Card

For those who own an iPod, or if you're planning on giving an iPod in conjunction with it, an iTunes gift card is a great way to let the recipient download apps, games, movies, and music from iTunes. It's also a great idea if you don't know what kind of music the person wants or likes.

Six: 180 Earmuffs

Men and woman alike usually find some sort of use for 180-degree earmuffs, the kind that wrap around the back of the neck and sit comfortably on the ears without causing a crimp in the hair. These fit well in a stocking and are usually very well received.

Seven: CD of a Favorite Artist

For someone who maybe doesn't own an iPod or spends time in a car without an iPod adapter, a tangible CD is still the way to go. They're typically less than $20, so they qualify as an inexpensive, fun stocking stuffer.

Eight: Waterproof Watch

It might sound a little weird to give a waterproof watch as a Christmas stocking stuffer, but it's a better idea than you might think. Instead of giving the typical cliché jewelry, cheap earrings, or a bracelet that will be worn only once or twice, a durable watch can be worn while traveling, swimming, during sports games, cleaning the house, etc. without the recipient having to worry about damaging their good watch or going without. I know it's one of my favorite stocking stuffers, and it could be a great use for someone in your family, too.
